View Model  (180 Kb) The Ferdinand, also known as "Porsche Tiger" or “Elephant”, was a heavy tank-destroyer put upon a Tiger I chassis. It was fitted with a deadly 88mm L-70 cannon, electromechanical transmission, 200 mm front armor, but the 65 ton self propelled gun with 2 engines of 320 hp could reach speeds of 22 km/h.This gave it no maneuverability, and was extremely vulnerable to determined infantry. Fragments of drawings in high resolution were used to design some details. view details view details    Stage 2: Modeling Modeling process didn’t cause any complexity. The form of the model was simple and that is why the final design had small quantity of polygons. view details view details    Stage 3: Texturing Preliminarily defined UUV-maps were unwrapped into bit-mapped images with wireframe mesh. They were used to draw high-quality textures.
