Usually rendering takes up the majority of the total development time. Material assortment is put into effect depending on the destination of rendering. For example, animation is restricted to simple colors with flat shading but video production has to include finished texture details. Textures can be used not only for color determination of object surfaces, but also for its relief, reflecting and refracting properties, flashing effects, etc.
Disposing of light is also very important. It determines whether an object or animation scene will be as acceptable to the eye as it would be on a sunny day, at night, or in candlelight. Lighting has a special importance when preparing realistic rendering. Composition of separately visualized objects into background photos is also possible.
